Are you an experienced SEND professional who would like to lead the development and delivery of the Statutory SEND Pathway for Hertfordshire?
We are looking for a dynamic and detail orientated leader to take forward Hertfordshire’s new Statutory SEND Service following a review of statutory pathways for SEND. This is a great opportunity to work with a newly restructured service to shape and develop the future of statutory SEND services across Hertfordshire.
The Education, Health and Care (EHC) assessment and review team are responsible for delivering high quality casework in line with the statutory requirements in the SEND Code of Practice 2015 and Children and Families Act 2014. The post-holder will manage this team, ensuring that Hertfordshire discharge their statutory duties in a way that supports positive outcomes for children, young people and families through effective coproduction and multi-agency working.
This will be a fast paced and challenging but very rewarding role. You will be the designated Lead Officer for all EHC assessment and review processes and play a crucial role in driving forward the improvement and development of our SEND service. You will also have responsibility for oversight of Resolution and Reconciliation including mediation, complaints and appeals to the SEND Tribunal.
The role will also require responsibility for taking a strategic leadership role within the Integrated Services for Learning and being a part of the ISL Senior Management Team.
