We are now looking to appoint to a confident, ambitious, enthusiastic and self-motivated Course Leader to work as part of a strong learner-focused team.    


Construction Department 

Course Leader – Construction and the Built Environment  

37 hours per week 

Salary - £28, 292 - £30,909 per annum  


We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Course Leader to lead and develop the current and new programmes the Construction department offers. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with clients and college partners to ensure successful delivery of a range of courses and apprenticeships, whilst facilitating growth for the department. Reporting directly to the Programme Manager, you will provide line management support to a number of staff to ensure maximum retention, progression and success is achieved.   The Construction department is likely to grow significantly over the next two years and you will be at the forefront of this growth, guiding the team through an exciting time.  

This is a great opportunity for a person with drive, ambition and ability to carve out a successful career in education whilst working for an outstanding college. You must hold a Teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert.Ed.), a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject and have experience of working within an education setting.
