Our C-Stem department supports learners across Construction, Engineering and Computing subjects and provides a dynamic, vibrant and rewarding work environment where your skills will be used to their full potential. We are now looking to recruit dynamic teachers to the following roles to join our team to deliver outstanding provision to our young people and employers:   

Course Leader – Electrical Installation – Ref 333 

37 hours per week

£31,845 - £34,777 per annum (plus possible access to £3000 retainer payment) 

55 days annual leave (including bank and public holidays)   

Working as part of the Leadership team you will be responsible for developing the curriculum in the Electrical Installation section, optimising student recruitment and maximising performance and outcomes by maintaining the level of support offered to students and teaching staff. Furthermore, you will be expected to contribute towards the quality of the teaching learning and assessment through innovative strategies and implementation of robust quality assurance procedures within the department.    Based at the Science Technology and Maths (STEM) centre you will have the opportunity to lead an enthusiastic and dedicated team delivering a full range of Electrical Installation study programmes and apprenticeships. 

The post holder will be responsible for planning and developing the curriculum to complement our existing Electrical Installation provision and should have the motivation and aptitude to expand the offer and develop an exciting range of additional courses and commercial opportunities including Electrical Wiring Regulations.   

You should have a minimum of 2 years’ of highly-effective teaching in Electrical Installation, a relevant Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline and a PGCE, Cert Ed or Level 5 Teaching Diploma.
