Our Creative Industries School currently includes Acting, Production Arts, Digital Arts, Art, Design, Media, Fashion, Dance, Music, Music Technology, Games Design, 3D Design and Photography, with students on study programmes, access courses, apprenticeships and higher education courses. Our focus is on ensuring that current and future students receive a first class experience that enables them to progress and attain their qualifications at high levels and to develop long-lasting learning and employability skills.

We currently run a Level 2 and Level 3 in Media skills and are now looking for a dynamic, pro-active, highly organised and effective Course Leader / Lecturer. This is an exciting opportunity in a thriving and successful part of the provision.

You will produce module study guides and/or schemes of work, monitor their delivery, supervise assessment, provide internal verification and liaise with external verifiers/modifiers as required. You will also be responsible for the awarding body requirements and for ensuring programmes of work are conceived and delivered in ways which meet the needs of individual learners.

Hardworking and flexible, you will have excellent teaching skills and be recognised as a good or better teacher. With a Degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject, you will have high personal standards and expectations along with experience of successfully monitoring and supporting ‘at-risk’ learners to achieve or exceed their potential.

With the ability to work well under pressure to agreed deadlines, you will be receptive to new ideas and initiatives and have a creative approach to problem solving. We’d also like you to have good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills and have a strong commitment to equality and diversity, safeguarding, personalised learning and the provision of educational excellence.
