This is the perfect opportunity for an individual who has advanced skills in games design and who holds relevant professional qualifications to degree level or higher. Hardworking and flexible, you will have a keen and current understanding of industry and be able to support FE students develop higher level skills.
They will have an excellent proven track record of teaching or training using Autodesk 3D software and Adobe software and Unity. A good understanding of Unreal Engine 4 would also be an advantage. You need to be an excited, outgoing and committed member of our team who is willing to adapt and evolve as well as bring new skills to the groups we teach and our department.
You will have a proven track record of coordinating teaching, learning and assessment and development of practical and vocational courses as well as a current and strong understanding of curriculum opportunities and developments in creative arts industries (and FE education).
With high personal standards and expectations, you will have experience of successfully monitoring and supporting “at-risk” learners to achieve or exceed their potential and have a strong track record in delivering high quality learning programmes with demonstrably good outcomes. Able to work well under pressure and to agreed deadlines, you will have good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills and be committed to equality and diversity, safeguarding, personalised learning and the provision of educational excellence.
Candidates must hold a teaching qualification and or equivalent industry experience.
