Permanent, Term Time plus 2 days
Monday – Friday, 6 hours a day (7.30am – 1.30pm)
We are currently recruiting for a new position which will work closely with the Deputy Head in administering the cover system, as well as the providing supervision.
The post holder will be responsible for accurately, efficiently, and effectively recording planned and unplanned absences on our MIS. The successful candidate will also be required to work under the guidance of the teaching/senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision. There is a requirement to supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers and to respond to questions and generally assist pupils in undertaking set activities when fulfilling this supervisory role.
Applicants should have prior experience of working with children in a professional capacity as well as a knowledge of relevant legislation/codes of practice of working in a educational environment. The ability to understand and apply behaviour management strategies with students along with a good standard of IT skills and excellent organisational & administrative skills are also a pre-requisite.
