An experienced administrator is required to organise cover arrangements and support the work of the Deputy Head Mistress (Teaching & Learning) at this leading independent school.

The post of: Cover Manager & Teaching & Learning Secretary
Responsible to: The post-holder will be directly responsible to the Deputy Head (Teaching & Learning)
Salary: Points 22-25 on the support staff pay scale. Currently £21,285 to £23,342.
Hours: 37 hours per week: 7:45am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday, 7:45am to 3:30pm on Friday, with 45 minutes unpaid time for lunch each day. The appointment is full time, all year round.
Holidays: The holiday year runs from 1st September to 31st August. In addition to the usual public holidays you are entitled to 25 paid working days’ holiday in each full holiday year worked, increasing to 28 paid working days’ holiday after 2 years’ continuous service and increasing to 33 paid working days after 5 years’ continuous service, accruing pro rata in each calendar year. Holidays are to be taken during the period of the school holidays.
Main Duties: To organise the deployment of staff for the cover and invigilation system and to provide administrative support for the Deputy Head (Teaching & Learning).
