We are looking to appoint a Cover Manager to take responsibility for co-ordinating and planning cover for teaching staff absences. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and organising the duties of a number of cover supervisors and supply staff including relevant induction, training and performance management provision.
You will have experience of working in a busy school environment and understand the nuances involved in providing the right cover solution for each lesson and would suit an efficient, proactive and calm administrator with excellent IT skills, who enjoys working in a varied and fast-moving environment.
You will also be responsible for supporting the Senior Leadership Team in organising Lunch, Break and Bus duty rotas, co-ordinating the production of staff handbooks, overseeing and arranging training for staff and supporting the organisation of school inset days and other internal and external meetings.
Experience of School Information Management Systems would be desirable but not essential.
Working Hours: 37hrs per week (7:15am – 14:45pm Monday to Thursday, 7:15 to 14:15 Friday 40 Weeks per year (term time plus one week)
