Job Title: Cover Manager

Responsible To: HR Administration Officer/ SLT Cover Lead
Responsible For: Cover Supervisors
Salary Grade: Band G, Scp 19-24 £24,061-£26,866 (actual)
Contract: This is a permanent contract, 36 hours a week, 39 weeks a year (term-time + INSET days)
Start Date: As soon as possible
The closing date for this vacancy is 6th February 2023 at 12 noon.
The key responsibilities of this role include coordinating and allocating daily cover arrangements for planned and unplanned staff absence. This involves a 7.15am start each day. Line management of the Cover Supervisor team. Supervision of whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers. The primary focus of the role will be to maintain good order and to keep students on task ensuring they progress through the planned curriculum.
