Job overview
Starting as September 2017, we are seeking to appoint a committed individual to work as part of a dedicated team of staff. We seek colleagues who can effectively supervise students across the age range 11 to 18 covering lessons for absent colleagues. The post will offer the opportunity to work in a wide range of subject areas across the curriculum. The position is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to pursue a career in education.
The successful candidate will cover lessons of any subject and set high expectations to motivate and challenge students whilst managing behaviour effectively and promoting a positive learning environment. In periods where cover is not required the successful candidate will support in the classroom or elsewhere in the academy as directed.
Candidates should have experience of working in a school environment with students aged 11-16. You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of ‘Students First’.
