We have an exciting key vacancy for a Cover Supervisor in our inspirational and progressive academy.  The successful candidate will share the aspirational ambitions of our school. The role involves providing effective supervision of students both inside and outside the classroom, during the short term absence of teaching staff to enable access to learning. This is a full time role during term time on a fixed term basis to meet the needs of the curriculum for the 2022-2023 academic year.

Duties will include:

• Responding to student questions, assisting students to undertake set activities and to stay on task

• Maintaining a positive learning environment

• Providing cover for morning and afternoon registration groups

• Collecting work completed after lessons and returning it to an agreed person/place

• Previous experience of working with children and young people?

• The ability to deal calmly with situations as they arise?

• Outstanding communication and team working skills?

• Qualified to degree level?

• Proactive, self-motivated and intuitive?
