We are an all-through co-operative school with students ranging from 4 – 19 years. Staff are expected to make the most of this all through provision and to liaise with relevant colleagues in all parts of the school. The school is based over two sites and there may be times when colleagues are expected to work across both sites with students.

We are looking for Cover Supervisors who should by experience, training or aptitude be prepared to demonstrate an ability to support the learning of students in the classroom.


You will be expected to carry out additional tasks as required by the Examinations and Cover Manager and you should be aware of and comply with all policies and procedures in the school.


You must be proactive, an all-rounder with the ability to work efficiently within a pressurised environment and maintain a professional approach to your work at all times.  It is essential that you are capable of working on your own initiative and as part of a team, applying excellent attention to detail.  Excellent organisational skills and a flexible working attitude is also essential for this role.


The successful candidate will be expected to carry out their role on the school site.

Preston Manor School is a mixed, non-denominational, all-through state school with academy status, based in Wembley, north-west London, for children aged 4-18. It is a member of the family of Co-operative Trust Schools. It is a large school with approximately 1,900 pupils. Situated within a multicultural community, the school offers additional support for pupils who speak English as an additional language. Diversity and tolerance is a key message in its ethos.
