Preston Manor is an all-through Co-operative School located in the highly diverse and vibrant London borough of Brent. We are part of an established network of schools and work collaboratively with local schools. We are a large learning community with students from ages 4-19 years old and our curriculum expands across six key stages. Our focus on holistic wellbeing, along with teaching and learning, means that progress and development takes place both within the classroom and beyond for students and staff alike. The school is situated within sight of the iconic Wembley Stadium, and provides access to all that Wembley has to offer. The school benefits from fantastic links both through public transport and by car.  It is a short 10 minute walk from Wembley Park and Preston Road Underground Stations and a 10 minute bus journey from North Wembley Station. The Metropolitan, Jubilee and Bakerloo lines as well as the London Overground/Network rail are within easy reach of the school. Central London locations can easily be reached within 20 minutes from the School.  The school is also accessible to major motorways (M25, M1, M40 and A40 etc.).   

Cover Supervisor

Required for September 2017

Fixed term contract for 1 year

36 Hours per week - Term Time plus inset days

Salary – Scale 5, spinal point 22 – 25 (£20,661 – £22,658 pro rata)

plus London Weighting (£1,848 pro rata) circa (£19,772 - £21,526 inclusive LW)

The person appointed should by experience, training or aptitude be prepared to demonstrate an ability to support the learning of students in the classroom.

You will be expected to carry out additional tasks as required by the Examinations and Cover Manager and you should be aware of and comply with all policies and procedures in the school.

You must be proactive, an all-rounder with the ability to work efficiently within a pressurised environment and maintain a professional approach to your work at all times.  It is essential that you are capable of working on your own initiative and as part of a team, applying excellent attention to detail.  Excellent organisational skills and a flexible working attitude are also necessary.
