Are you considering teacher training and need to expand on your classroom experience? Alternatively you may be looking for a career in education. We are looking to appoint someone to join our team of Cover Supervisors. You will support our teaching staff by providing classroom cover, implementing set work, monitoring students and reporting on progress during short term teacher absence. Other duties may include examination supervision and administrative/technical support.
We are looking for committed, enthusiastic applicants with good communication and teamwork skills. Experience of working with young people aged 11+ is an essential requirement and a good degree is desirable. The ability to be flexible, to use initiative and work effectively under pressure is also essential. In return we offer great opportunities within education for the right person, including support with a local training provider for a route into teaching.
