Permanent, full time (37 hours per week)

39 weeks per year (term time plus Inset days)

Grade 5, Spinal Column Point 6 – 11 (Equating to £16,921 - £19,102)

The Ellesmere Port Church of England College is a secondary school with an ethos based on Anglican beliefs where we welcome students from all faiths.

The Ellesmere Port C of E College is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced person, who will play a vital role in helping us continue to drive up standards, by supervising classes in the absence of a teacher. 

The role will also include undertaking duties to support teaching and learning in subject areas, to be determined dependent on your area of expertise, supervision of students’ work and management of student behaviour. 

The successful candidate must be computer literate, organised and have at least five GCSEs, including Maths and English, at grade C or above (or equivalent qualifications). 

Enthusiasm, commitment and flexibility are essential, as is the ability to work as part of a team, in a very busy and fast-paced environment. Knowledge and experience of working in an educational environment would be an advantage.
