Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in local Secondary schools in and around Chesterfield. This is a supply role, so will be ad hoc day to day supply assignments.


The role


The desired Cover Supervisor will be working in classes of around 30 pupils, with a wide range of ability levels. The role of a Cover Supervisor within a school is to support learning and manage the classroom in the absence of the Subject Teacher. A Cover Supervisor would be utilised in all aspects of the school to cover across a multitude of subjects.


The school


We currently work with a number of schools in and around Chesterfield supporting their day to day and short-term cover needs and requirements. They expect a high level of professionalism and a good education from their Cover staff. Experience in this field is not essential, however a strong interest in education is.


Requirements


To be considered for the position of Cover Supervisor, you will:


Have experience supporting Secondary ­­­­­­­­­­Aged Children.

Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of cover staff.

Recent (within 2 years) relevant referenceable experience working with children.

Have a passion for education and an interest in taking a teaching or support route.
