ABC Teachers have been inundated with requests for Cover Supervisors in the Long Eaton region of Derbyshire. If you’re looking at getting into teaching or are looking for part-time work in schools, this opportunity could be perfect for you.
Instead of volunteering to get experience for your PGCE you can build up your experience in schools with us, whilst getting paid to do so!
The days you work are completely up to you so whether you’d prefer to work for a full five days or just a couple a week, we can help you find work for those days.
All you need to qualify for this role is experience of dealing with groups of children and being able to reference that. Typical candidates include sports coaches, youth mentors, Camp America workers etc.
The role includes running through the work set with a class by the regular teacher and making sure they stay on task. Behaviour management skills are needed and an ability to quickly build rapport with the students. Although you’ll be in front of a class you don’t need to have an in depth knowledge of the subject.
If you are interested in this position, please contact Lewis Bowens today on 01332 219 051 or 'Apply now' to submit your details.
