Cover Supervisor

Contract: Permanent, full or part time considered (minimum 3 days) 37 hours a week (term-time only plus 5 INSET days)


We require a Cover Supervisor to join Goodwin Academy, to provide cover for absent teaching staff and facilitate the learning by Key Stage 3 and 4 students. The successful candidate will be required to supervise whole classes, assisting students in undertaking pre-planned learning activities. This is a great opportunity if you are pursuing a career as a Teacher or a Teaching Assistant as this role will provide experience of working in a classroom and interacting with students.

  • Committed to supporting students

  • Additional language skills would be beneficial to support our diverse student population.
  • Previous experience of working with young people is desirable and the ability to contribute to the wider life of the school will be an advantage.
