Trinity Sowerby Bridge will be a new academy within the Trinity Multi-Academy Trust, transferring to the trust in March 2018. The flagship academy, Trinity Academy Halifax is a model of excellence for the growing number of academies and free schools joining the trust. The team behind the success at Trinity are working to help those joining our trust to replicate their successes in improving the outcomes for children and young people.
Sowerby Bridge has a new leadership team in place, led by an Executive Principal. Through robust, clear systems and support; we can ensure that teachers can focus on developing their teaching. Our mantra of ‘Culture & Consistency = Excellence’ is something that we are proud of and all staff support us to maintain this philosophy.
Aspirations and ambitions are high, and the trust’s outstanding leadership team will embed targeted and effective support, which is based on world class, proven systems. The vision is to transform education at Sowerby Bridge, with the intention of providing an outstanding education to students. With the support from Trinity Academy this is a realistic and achievable goal, which has been shown through the results and outcomes of the flagship academy.

The role of Cover Supervisor demands flexibility and initiative, as you will be required to supervise students to complete work during the absence of their usual teacher. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates looking to start their career in teaching, or to build on previous teaching experience. Good organisation skills, flexibility and confidence in dealing with a classroom situation are essential.
You must be fully committed to optimising the opportunities that are available to children and young people, secure in the knowledge that you will be joining the flagship academy that sets the standards for the schools that are part of an ambitious and forward-thinking Academy Trust.
