 ABC Teachers are urgently looking to register a number Cover Supervisors to work in the secondary school setting across the Leicester and Leicestershire area.

What is a cover supervisor?

The role of a cover supervisor is different every day; you will be given prepared lesson plans and will have to deliver those to a class of 20-30 students. The subjects you can cover will also vary from day to day, one day it could be PE all day, the next it could be science, maths and history! You will not be expected to plan any lessons. How often you work is up to you, all of our current cover supervisors are working everyday they are free.

What experience/qualifications do I need?

You don’t need ANY qualifications to become a cover supervisor

You DO need 20 days’ worth of experience working with children in ANY setting. This can include:

- Football coaching - Swimming Coaching -Gymnastics Coaching

- Youth Work -Voluntary work -School Placements

- Dance Teaching -Martial Arts Teaching -Scout Guides ect

- Teaching Assistant experience
