Job overview

We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team this September.

The role of the Cover Supervisor is to provide support for staff and pupils through various lesson covers, therefore, a good understanding of a variety of subjects is required. Applicants must have a good standard of education and be able to engage and motivate pupils. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional person to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Applicants must have the ability to inspire pupils, helping them achieve their personal best and encourage a love of learning.

We can offer this position on a full or part time basis.

Essential Criteria

  • GCSE English and Maths grade 4/C or higher.
  • Ability to inspire pupils, helping them to achieve their personal best.
  • Be empathetic and be able to recognise the needs of children in a school environment.
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to contribute positively to the team.
  • Adaptable and flexible working approach.
  • Ability to encourage a love of learning in all pupils across the curriculum.
  • Ability to engage with pupils positively and effectively.
