35 hours per week (Term Time Only)
Fixed Term for one year with a view to the role being made permanent.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Scale: Sc6- Point 18-20 depending upon experience

We are a comprehensive inner London secondary school with a diverse intake of students from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures. We were graded as Good in all aspects during our last Ofsted Inspection (Nov 2017).
We are looking to appoint an experienced Cover Supervisor to be part of our team and if necessary to deputise for the cover manager arranging and managing cover using the Cover 7 Module on SIMs (full training will be given).
You will have a flexible approach to working and have outstanding behaviour management.
You should have a good working knowledge, understanding and experience of the following;
Secondary School Curriculum
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Working within a secondary school environment.
General ICT skills such as Excel and Word.
Excellent English oral and written skills

About Arts & Media School Islington
Arts & Media School Islington is a co-educational, comprehensive trust foundation school in north Islington, London.
The Victorian school building was originally home to Montem Street School, later becoming known as Tollington Park Secondary School and, more recently, as George Orwell School.
In 2014, Arts & Media School Islington was selected to be one of 12 schools in London to participate in the Music in Secondary Schools Trust (MISST) programme, which aims to develop team-working skills, improve discipline and enrich the learning of students through the creativity of music.
Key stage 3 students at Arts & Media School Islington receive an orchestral string instrument alongside compulsory musical education for three years, all free of charge.
