Serlby Park Academy are looking to appoint a dynamic, inspirational, hard-working Cover Supervisor to join their academy in February 2020 on a temporary basis.   You will provide supervision of students within a primary / secondary school and will need to respond to questions, generally assist students to undertake set activities and to uphold standards of behaviour in the classroom. In addition to cover needs, there will also be a requirement to work alongside existing staff in specific curriculum areas providing general support for departments. This is a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the school and you must be IT literate and competent in using a variety of software packages.

The academy is a 3-18 all through school situated in a small village with a real community feel. We feel passionate about providing our young people with the best experiences, the best outcomes and the best opportunities. We place our learners’ individual needs at the heart of what we do and pride ourselves in our adaptability and willingness to engage fully with our students, their parents and the communities they live in. This role provides an unusual and exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about the opportunity to impact on the lives of students from when they join the academy at the age of 3 in an all through 3-18 setting.

Serlby Park Academy is a 3-16 all through school located in Bircotes and Harworth, a small village within easy access of the A1. Children aged 3 – 16 learn together in one purpose built building with brand new facilities.
