Cover Supervisor needed for a Secondary School in Nottingham – Supply Basis - Immediate start.

Are you outgoing, vibrant, and an inspirational sports or academic coach with secondary teaching/coaching experience? Are you available for work a minimum of 2 days per week? If so, then we would like to speak to you.
 

ABC Teachers, a leading supply agency in the East Midlands, have been approached to recruit for a Cover Supervisor to work in a reputable school in the Nottingham area. The school is looking for a reliable candidate who is comfortable coving a variety of year groups. The schools atmosphere and culture is exemplary and the intimate feel within the school makes it an extremely desirable place to work.
 

As a Cover Supervisor you will be required to cover lessons during the short term absence of the main class teacher who will have set suitable work for the duration. At a very basic level the role of the Cover Supervisor is to supervise the class whilst they complete tasks set by the teacher. This requires no active teaching, marking, planning etc.

The ideal candidate will have impeccable behaviour management skills and will be able to easily build a strong rapport with both staff and students. You will need to have at least 20 days of experience working with groups of children aged 11 – 16. The successful candidate will also have an education to a degree level (or equivalent).
