The Governors are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor in this ambitious, forward thinking school.

The successful candidate will supervise the learning of whole classes during the short term absence of the class teacher as they undertake work set by the teacher; to invigilate tests and examinations and to accompany staff and pupils on educational visits.

The position is 27.5 hours per week, 8.45 - 2.45pm with an unpaid 30 minute lunch break.

Term time only, 38 working weeks which equates to a total of 43.60 paid weeks.

The position is permanent, based on a successful probationary period.

Pewsey Vale School is a small mixed 11-16 comprehensive school catering for students from widely varied backgrounds in the village of Pewsey in the Pewsey Vale of Wiltshire.  Pewsey Vale School is currently in the process of joining Acorn Education Trust and view this as an exciting opportunity.

The Pewsey Vale grounds are shared with a leisure centre and primary school. The village of Pewsey is known for its statue of Alfred the Great and its annual carnival. It also has convenient road and rail access to London.
