Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Location: Rugeley, Staffordshire

Salary: Grade 6, SCP 9-15 (£22,712 to £25,021 per annum actual salary)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Full-Time (37 hours), term-time only

About the Cover Team:

Our cover department at The Hart School ensure that students receive consistent, high-quality education even when their regular teachers are absent. They work collaboratively to maintain the standard of teaching and learning across the school, actively supporting the progress of students and recognising that every lesson is a rich opportunity to learn.

About You:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will bring your dedication to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, ensuring that students continue to receive quality education even in the absence of their regular teachers Our ideal candidate would:

·        Hold high expectations of self and others.

·        Have the ability to work in a team, collaboratively with other colleagues.

·        Be resilient, adaptable, motivated and remain calm under pressure.

·        Be able to build effective relationships with students and staff. 

Requirements:

To apply for the Cover Supervisor opportunity you must:

·         Have good GCSE (or equivalent) results including Maths and English.

·         Have experience of working to support children’s learning in an educational setting.

·         Experience of effective delivery of specific areas of the curriculum to individuals and in small groups.
