The role

We are seeking to appoint a motivated, hard-working and flexible Cover Supervisor who has a clear interest in helping students to achieve and who can adapt in a fast paced and ever changing environment.  

The role will provide effective classroom cover and lesson delivery on behalf of absent colleagues. Work will be set by the teacher and you may be required to provide cover in any subject area across the Academy.  

The successful candidate will be:

- Enthusiastic and highly motivated when supporting students’ learning in the classroom

- Flexible and able to adjust to changing circumstances/environments

- Enjoy working with young people and confident to make a difference in the classroom

- Able to maintain good standards of behaviour

- Able to demonstrate a high level of literacy and numeracy skills
