Cover Supervisor

We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to provide cover for absent teachers throughout the school covering students’ lessons. Required to work 32.5 hours per week (8.15am–3.15pm Monday – Friday) term time only (39 weeks per year). Actual salary range £12,178 - £13,490 per annum depending on experience (based on 32.5 hours). 

A firm but non-confrontational approach towards discipline is essential, as are excellent communication skills. Experience of working with young people is desirable, although full training will be provided. Applicants need to have a good general education and be educated to GCSE level C or equivalent in Maths and English. Graduates looking for future teaching careers considered.
