Cover Supervisor/Teaching Assistant level 3
32 hours per week, Term-time contract + 4 days, Permanent.
SCP 7 – 17 (Point 7 Pro rata salary £14,974 Point 17 pro rata salary £18,253).
Required for an immediate start we are looking for a Cover Supervisor to provide daily cover for absent teachers and to fulfil the crucial link of curriculum continuity during teacher absence. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a school environment, supporting students and making a difference to young people’s lives. The post would suit those with prior experience of working as a Teaching Assistant. Equally the position would be ideal to gain further experience, perhaps before committing to teacher training course. Many of our Cover Supervisors have gone on to become qualified Teachers.
The successful candidate will possess well developed communication skills, excellent literacy and numeracy skills. A commitment to continuous improvement. Enthusiasm, adaptability. A positive outlook and a willingness to be fully involved in school life
