Value and vision
Under the new Principal, Elstow School is ambitious to be one of the best schools in the country. We believe that young people have a right to gain the knowledge shared by the community of educated citizens. We therefore expect great outcomes.
We take particular care to promote tolerance and fairness among pupils. The primary school seeks to ensure that all children have fair and equal access to an ambitious curriculum.
Elstow School is one of the hubs of the community, and goes to great lengths to ensure that pupils can properly understand and experience the world around them. Teachers work in close partnership with parents to make sure they have a strong understanding of their children’s education.
At Elstow there are no onerous marking policies and we are aware of the things that drive significant workload. We have very high SLT presence to ensure positive behaviour and teachers are free to get on with their jobs.
