About Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy

Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy (LHEA) is a state-funded non-selective, all-ability, non-denominational secondary school, one of 102 institutions to successfully bid for free school status in the summer of 2012. It opened its doors to pupils in September 2014. The school is sponsored by its sister institution – the outstanding Lynch Hill School Primary Academy – and both schools are part of the Learning Alliance Academy Trust.

Like other free schools we are subject to the same Ofsted inspections as state schools; although free schools are given certain freedoms, we are committed to following the national curriculum and to only employing well qualified teaching staff.

LHEA has moved into the brand new state of the art building off Stoke Road in Slough. Every year we will introduce a new year group, until 2019 when we will be a complete school. We pride ourselves on the expertise of our teaching staff, a safe and supportive atmosphere for pupils, a broad and balanced curriculum (complemented by a programme of Enterprise and STEM activities (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) and the high standards we expect of our students and ourselves.
