An exceptional opportunity has arisen to become the Cross College Leader for our Foundation English provision. Exeter College is an Outstanding college with a proactive and passionate commitment to ensuring high quality teaching and support for all of our learners who are continuing to work towards a Level 2 qualification.

The college is renowned for its success in this area and is looking to appoint a highly skilled and proactive individual to continue this critical work. There will be the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders to influence and shape the college strategic planning in this area and to get involved in regional and national networks and innovations.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about Further Education and have a deeply held commitment to supporting young people to successfully achieve English qualifications that they have previously found challenging. You will work closely with a range of Faculty Heads across the wider college to ensure high quality provision from Entry Level Functional Skills through to GCSE English. 

The successful candidate will need to have a flexible approach, be independent and proactive, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will have strong communication skills and be able to negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation.
