Grange Technology College is a part of the Southfield Grange Trust, a multi-academy trust established in 2013. The school is co-located with Southfield School, a ‘generic’ special school at the Southfield Grange Campus. Grange has been oversubscribed for a number of years and currently serves over 1850 students (including 250 at Post 16) from a wide variety of ethnic and cultural backgrounds. The majority of students are of South Asian heritage and we welcome an increasing number of students from Eastern Europe. We at Grange aim to ensure that students make excellent academic progress as well as developing the social and life skills essential to their future. This is done through a relentless concentration on teaching quality, curriculum provision and the effectiveness of the support we provide. Our commitment to equal opportunities is reflected in all aspects of school life - we welcome young people from all cultures, backgrounds and beliefs.

So what can we offer?  Grange is a secondary academy located in the city of Bradford.  We serve some of the most disadvantaged students in the country and can offer a unique and rewarding environment for committed and highly skilled professionals to develop their career.

What does the role entail? To support the overarching aim of continuous school improvement by providing a first class, comprehensive administrative service.

What do we need? Previous relevant experience is desirable. A ’can do’ attitude and the ability to prioritise work in the best interests of the team are essential.

Closing date: Midnight, Wednesday 20 September 2017

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable young people and expect all staff, casual workers and volunteers to share this commitment.  Safer recruitment practices and procedures are in place to ensure a robust safeguarding culture.  The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure and vetting check.  As required a “Teachers Prohibition Check”, “Section 128 Management check”, “Declaration of disqualification by association check” and “EEA teacher regulatory authority restriction check” will be undertaken. References will be undertaken and proof of eligibility to work in the UK will be required before any employment starts.
