We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, talented and experienced teacher who is passionate in their teaching to lead our Technology Department.   

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to provide leadership, innovation and direction within the team.   You will enthuse and engage pupils in expanding their creativity and enriching them with opportunities, delivering high quality lessons and achieve excellent results.   

The successful applicant will be an individual who is enthusiastic, passionate and can demonstrate excellent subject knowledge.

Ribblesdale High School is a co-educational secondary school based in Lancashire, for students aged 11-16. It is a non-denominational school founded in 1932.

The school is situated in the market town of Clitheroe, at the heart of the Ribble Valley.

“Teaching is good. Teachers’ questioning is used well to push students to think hard and express themselves fully. This enhances their oral and communication skills. Students’ behaviour is good. They conduct themselves well in lessons and as they move around the school. Students’ attitudes to learning are positive. They work hard and follow instructions well. They enjoy their learning because activities capture their interest. Students’ attendance is above average and they are always punctual to school and lessons. They arrive to lessons well prepared for learning.”
