The Reaseheath College Group is the largest provider of agricultural education in the country.

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Curriculum Area Manager to take full responsibility for the leadership and development of our Agriculture provision.

The department, and its leading commercial farm, work together to deliver to over 200 full-time further education students, a significant apprenticeship portfolio, and higher education courses up to BSc (Hons) at our University Centre Reaseheath.

Our specialist facilities include a planned £6 million investment in an Agri-Tech centre, due for completion in 2018, together with £3.5 million investment in our 300 cow intensive dairy unit, 120 sow herd and 500 ewe flock. We are also leading on an innovative national project on Lean Management to deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment using state of the art commercial units.

If you are an inspirational leader who is passionate about supporting learners to achieve, with a background in agricultural education, it really is an exciting time to join a dynamic and innovative department.

The successful candidate will have a minimum Level 5 qualification in an appropriate vocational discipline with experience of managing in a further education environment and demonstrable evidence of the ability to design and develop innovative curriculum programmes to meet customer needs. 

An appropriate teaching qualification is a requirement of the role.
