In January 2017, City of Westminster College and the College of North West London announced their intention to merge with a vision to deliver the highest quality education and training opportunities for students and employers across West and Central London, and beyond.

We currently have an opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced full time Curriculum Co-ordinator within the School of Leisure, Health and Public Services. The role will involve tutoring and course management of a Level 1, 2 and 3 vocational programme as well as teaching across all programmes including Access to Nursing and CACHE Childcare courses.

The successful candidate should have a degree (or equivalent) in a related area. You should also be familiar with the current BTEC, Access and CACHE curriculum in Health and Social Care, Nursing and Childcare. We encourage applications from teachers with a broad range of disciplines both in practice and theory. 

You will have sound organisational skills, your ability to work cooperatively and contribute positively and creatively to a team is also essential.

For all positions, successful candidates will be expected to teach on a range of subjects and programmes across the subject spectrums including AS and A levels, BTEC National and key skills, up to and including Level 3. Excellent administration and interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team are essential for all roles. You must also have a firm commitment to widening participation and equality of opportunity for all.

You will hold a hold a relevant degree qualification (or equivalent). You must possess a recognised Level 5/6 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or display a willingness to work towards achieving this.
