CATS College London is a co-educational independent day and boarding school serving international students aged 14+. The College specialises in preparing students for pre-university exams, including I/GCSEs, A Levels and the University Foundation Programme (UFP). In addition, the College delivers NCUK's International Year 1, allowing students to progress directly into the second year at University. There are approximately two hundred students on roll, class size average is nine, and students take part in an extensive range of extra-curricular activities including leadership awards and national/international competitions. The College is a member of the Independent Schools Association (ISA) and inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI). It is located in Bloomsbury Square at the heart of London and counts among its neighbours some of the world’s greatest centres of education, art, fashion and finance.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and outstanding professional who is seeking the next step in their career by joining our Academic Middle Leadership Team. The successful applicant will lead and manage the Social Sciences Faculty, which includes the following subjects: Business, Economics, Accounting, Sociology and Politics. The successful applicant will be passionate about developing a team of teachers to strive for continued successful results and the highest standards in Learning/Teaching practices. The successful applicant will teach Business and Accounting lessons at both Key Stage 5 and NCUK (Undergraduate first year). These lessons will enthuse and inspire students, promote life-long learning skills through the effective use of pedagogy and take into account the individual learning needs of our students: the ability to differentiate your teaching and manage varying abilities must be exceptional.

  • Experienced qualified teachers (holding QTS) with a proven track record of outstanding teaching and leadrship experience 
  • Teachers who are passionate about their subject and working with young people in an international boarding school environment 
  • A Master’s degree in Business/ Finance or related field.
  • Those who bring fresh ideas, who are kind and compassionate, and work hard to realise excellent progress and student outcomes


It would advantage your application if you:

  • Have experience of delivering all of our programmes
  • Have experience of working in a British-curriculum international school or FE college
  • Have experience of working in a boarding school 
  • Have experience of working in diverse multinational environments spanning differing linguistic and cultural need

The school was founded in 2011 under the name of “CATS College London”, joining CATS Cambridge and CATS Canterbury (founded in 1962) and joined by CATS Academy Boston in the US (in 2012). In October 2022 “CATS College London” rebranded to Guildhouse to better represent it's unique geography and educational offering as part of the CGS Global Schools Group.
