We are looking to appoint a well-qualified curriculum lead for design technology (specialist in Product Design, Engineering and Construction, with BTEC experience) who, under the guidance of the Director of Design, Art and Technology, will teach across the age and ability range. As a Curriculum Lead at Wellsway Secondary Campus, you will be responsible for ensuring that every student enjoys an excellent experience in your subject area you and will work closely with the rest of the team in delivering engaging learning activities.

If you are a highly effective leader/teacher, able to form excellent educational relationships with students and are able to contribute to the leadership of the design technology specialist areas identified, we would love to hear from you. The ability to teach design technology at Key Stages 3 to 4 (Product Design, Engineering and Construction) and Product Design/Engineering to A Level/ Level 3 is essential.

This is a fantastic opportunity and the post would be suitable for experienced practitioners, who are looking to make the step into leadership or who already hold a leadership post within Design and Technology.
