Job overview

We are keen to appoint an innovative, motivational, well-qualified and experienced person to lead the Business, Administration and Management course at our new academy. The successful candidate will have experience in leading Business Studies at Key Stage 5 (either A’Level and/or BTEC). 

This is an exciting position for a candidate who has a passion for both education and the screen/theatre industry. We are seeking a colleague to set up and lead this area of the curriculum in our brand-new Academy for 16-19 year olds. 

BOA Stage & Screen Production (BOA S&SP) opens in September 2021 near Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. It will specialise in the technical, production and administrative skills required for theatre, film, television and online platforms. BOA S&SP will have 200 students in Year 12 with a further 200 joining in September 2022 (PAN 400).

BOA Stage & Screen Production is a brand-new, industry-led 16-19 academy, specialising in Film, TV, Online and Theatre Production.

Located near Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, the academy opened to Year 12 students in September 2021. BOA Stage & Screen Production Academy provides an industry-led approach to developing the skills and experience of young people who are passionate about working in the technical, production, administrative and management roles associated with the stage and screen industry.
