Governors are looking to recruit a highly motivated, experienced individual to join our fantastic school.  The post holder will play an important role within the school leading the curriculum within Humanities and will be supported by an able team of professionals.  

This would be an ideal opportunity for an experienced, ambitious, individual with a proven record of securing strong pupil outcomes within Humanities to develop further within a large organisation.

Blessed Trinity RC College is a mixed, non-selective Roman Catholic secondary school, situated in Burnley, Lancashire. There are approximately 1,250 students at the college aged between 11-16.

Blessed Trinity RC College wants to provide all pupils with the necessary skills, knowledge and Christian values to allow for them to grow into responsible and caring members of society, and encourages them to become actively engaged within the local Burnley community. The school wants all pupils to feel valued and works at getting to know them as individuals in order for them to reach their goals and achieve to the highest of their abilities. The school follows four core values: love God, serve others, work hard and value all. Pupils at Blessed Trinity RC College are recognised for their high performance across sport and the arts. The school encourages talents and new interests after class with a wide range of extra-curricular clubs, including the Duke of Edinburgh Award and dance lessons. Pupils are able to explore their Christian faith with optional Chapel drop ins during lunch.
