This is an exciting time to join Workington Academy as we are part of a forward thinking and innovative Multi Academy Trust who are committed to cooperative and collaborative approaches.

 

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic, dynamic and inspirational Curriculum Leader for Computer Science to join our academy.

 

The CS department thrives on teamwork and offers BTEC Creative Media, OCR iMedia and GCSE Computer Science at KS4 with Cambridge Technical Level 3 in Digital Media and A Level Computer Science at KS5. In KS3 students are taught a wide variety of topics which focus on digital literacy, ICT and computing. Lessons are taught in purpose-built ICT suites.


We invest in our staff with excellent CPD and by ensuring that they have every opportunity to grow and develop.
