Safeguarding

Teachers and Associate Staff are accountable for the way in which they exercise authority, manage risk, use resources and protect students from discrimination and avoidable harm. All staff, whether paid or voluntary, have a duty to keep young people safe and to protect them from physical harm. When an individual accepts a role that involves working with children and young people they need to understand and acknowledge that the responsibilities and trust are inherent in that role.

At All Saints Academy, it is important to Sponsors, Governors and staff that all children make the best progress possible regardless of their academic starting point. We understand that the best progress is only achieved when teachers know their students well and plan lessons with expertise, ensuring all students become the best they can be.  We are highly ambitious for everyone and fundamentally believe that students should not have ceilings placed on their ability.

We want our students to be happy, confident and secure so that they can make the most of all the opportunities they are given.  We will work to form strong relationships between staff and students, and between students themselves, underpinned by a strong Christian ethos; where everybody matters and each individual is celebrated for all their gifts and talents.

We value our staff and offer a range of support and CPD opportunities, including weekly training sessions for colleagues who are new to the Academy, in addition to a comprehensive new staff induction.

We recognise that staff wish to further their careers and encourage progression, both within the Academy or elsewhere when the time is right for you.

So, if you are enthusiastic, share a passion for teaching and are ready for a challenge, we hope you will consider a position with us at All Saints.
