We have an exciting opportunity for two Curriculum Leaders of Maths and English to drive forward the department and boost the learner experience.

The successful candidates will be inspirational teachers who promote the highest levels of achievement for all students. Using their enthusiasm and expertise they will work closely with the team; leading, developing and monitoring the curriculum so as to maximise the achievement of all students. The successful candidates should have a proven track record of successful teaching of Maths or English at Functional Skills or GCSE level and it is essential that applicants have a genuine interest in this subject area. As Curriculum Leader, the successful candidate will lead on provision of pre-advanced Maths and English at one of our colleges (Eccles Sixth Form College, Worsley College, Pendleton Sixth Form College, Future Skills or City Skills). Which college will depend on the candidate’s strengths and the college’s needs and will be discussed at interview. As part of this role the post holders will work on Salford City College terms and conditions and be required to teach, with some remission for leadership responsibilities.
