Northbridge International School Cambodia

Established in 1997, Northbridge International School Cambodia is the leading IB schools in Cambodia. The school currently caters for approximately 910 students from 2- 18 years old though our IB continuum PYP, MYP and DP programs.

About the role

  • Meet with Secondary Curriculum Development Team as scheduled
  • Review curriculum - written, taught and assessed - update scope and sequence in line with new units
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of a comprehensive department wide curriculum and associated assessments
  • Ensure ManageBac is up to date and reflects the curriculum being taught
  • Review departmental data for the purpose of informing teaching and learning.  
  • Plan with the programme coordinators standardisation sessions.
  • Observations and walkthroughs to support Learner Growth Plan
  • Budget for and request of materials and equipment in order to provide instructional support to teachers
  • Assess the need for instructional resources based on teacher input
  • Facilitate regular department meetings
  • Work closely with the Programme Coordinators and Head of Secondary to develop the department subject areas within the school
  • Ensure the department is meeting MYP/DP assessment deadlines and work with the programme coordinator to ensure paperwork is filled in correctly

Global academic results

The 2021-2022 school year was one of the strongest ever in terms of Nord Anglia Education’s academic results. For the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, our students achieved a 35.1 global point average, far exceeding the global average of 31.9. A third of students eared a perfect score of 45. In the A-levels, our students achieved 60.5% of grades at A*-A, along with 77.3% at A*-B. The group’s latest IGCSE student cohort, consisting of 2,351 students across 41 Nord Anglia schools, achieving an outstanding set of results, with 52.8% of grades at 9 – 7 for the year and 90.8% at 9 – 4.
