Surrey Adult Learning is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Curriculum Manager to lead and develop the thriving English, Maths and Languages team. The highly successful accredited programme for English and Maths has grown rapidly since it was introduced 4 years ago. Ofsted have recently confirmed the Service as a ‘Good’ provider.

This is an exciting employment opportunity to manage the offer of learning programmes and improve the life chances for Surrey residents. The role includes managing a smaller provision of non accredited courses in Exercise, Dance, Cookery and Humanities.

Are you able to plan strategically and identify and design relevant curriculum that has suitable breadth, depth and relevance to meet the needs and interests of learners in the local community?
Do you have experience of managing a team?
Are you familiar with the Ofsted Common Inspection Framework and experienced in the lesson observation process in order to ensure a high standard of provision for learners?
Do you have experience of teaching adults?
Do you have excellent written and oral communication skills and can you use IT confidently? 

You will work full time 36 hours a week, 52 weeks a year and lead the English, Maths and Languages team as part of Surrey Adult Learning’s exciting learning offer.

You will be based at Guildford, but regular business travel is expected.
