Curriculum Mentor

Highbury Community Nursery is seeking to appoint a full time Curriculum mentor.

The successful candidate will

• Have a thorough and teachable knowledge of 'planning in the moment' and ensure it is in practice consistently
• support and advice our staff team supporting them to improve their practical skills
• BA(hons) in Early years or Education
• oversee and role model everyday practice within the group rooms
• maintain an excellent knowledge of Ofsted and local authority frameworks and curriculum
• Run relevant workshops to support and develop the staff team and parental knowledge
• Train and educate staff in planning in the moment, EYFS, CofEL and good outcomes for children through the day
• Work closely with our management team to provide a consistent and cohesive environment for both staff and children

This position is ideal for a motivated and dynamic Early Years professional who has a deep knowledge, experience and understanding of both children and adults and how to get the best from them.
