Curriculum Office & SIMS Data Manager  Monday to Friday, 37 hours a week, 52 weeks per annum LGPS Grade 10 £29323 - £31601

Do you want to work in a popular and successful school, where staff professional development and wellbeing is at the heart of our work? We are currently looking for a Curriculum Office and SIMS Data Manager to lead our Curriculum Office team. This post is a senior and key role in our new Support Staff structure, leading a team of support staff to produce student and data reports, examination processes and timetabling, working closely alongside the Deputy Headteacher. As a school we use SIMS, so knowledge of the school SIMS environment would be an advantage for the role. We also welcome applications from ambitious colleagues, who may not have worked in a school environment, looking for a new challenge who can make a real difference through leading this very significant and important support function in our school. This is an exciting time to be joining Gosford Hill School, under the leadership of its new Headteacher. We are very proud of our school, but you can only learn so much from reading about us. We therefore encourage you to come and visit, in order to experience what makes our school special.

Gosford Hill School is situated in Kidlington, on the north western edge of Oxford near to the new Oxford Parkway Station (a 50 minute journey from London). We are also fortunate to be at the gateway to the rural Cotswolds.

If you are interested in the post, please complete a Gosford Hill School application form, outlining your reasons for applying and your suitability for the post. Application forms and further details are available on the school’s website or from Nicola Cooke, Headteacher’s PA. (tel. 01865 374971; email jobapplications@gosford-hill.oxon.sch.uk.  The closing date for receipt of applications will be Sunday 4th March 2018.  Please submit your completed application to jobapplications@gosford-hill.oxon.sch.uk

Welcome to Gosford Hill School

It’s a pleasure to welcome you to Gosford Hill School. Our school prides itself on the emphasis that we place on the needs, aspirations and achievement of individual students with learning very much at the heart of our work. We want our students to develop as resilient and autonomous learners, keen to overcome challenges, and take risks, so that they gain the transferable skills needed to enable them to lead fulfilling lives as confident and articulate individuals in our society.

Every student has strengths and talents, and it is our job to find and unlock that potential in every student. Whether it’s sport, art, music, Duke of Edinburgh or World Challenge, we celebrate success and recognise that learning goes beyond the classroom. Students are often more likely to remember the wealth and diverse range of opportunities available to them beyond the classroom as they are faced with new and exciting challenges.

We work closely with parents, and it is our belief that where the school, individual student and their parents work closely together, students will succeed.

It’s a privilege to lead such a wonderful school and I do hope that you find the information on our website helpful. There is so much more to learn about our school though, so I would therefore urge you to come and visit us in order to find out and experience for yourself why students, parents, staff and our wider community are so proud of our school.

Mr Nigel J. Sellars
Headteacher
