Job overview

MEI is a charity, committed to improving mathematics education for all. It is involved in aspects of mathematics education including professional and curriculum development. MEI manages the national Advanced Mathematics Support Programme (AMSP) and is a partner in the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM).

MEI is seeking to appoint a Curriculum Resource Developer.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an exceptional team. The role will involve developing curriculum materials and designing and presenting PD courses aimed primarily at those supporting students in the post 16 sector who are either resitting GCSE Mathematics or working towards that aim.

The contract will commence on 1 January 2019 and, initially, run to 31 August 2020.

Salary will be in the range £45,000 to £55,000, depending on skills and experience.

This is a full time post but applications from individuals seeking part time, or flexible working arrangements are welcome. Secondments from teaching posts on a part-time basis will also be considered.

The post is home-based but will involve frequent travel nationally.

All offers of employment will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, as well as other appropriate clearances.
