Starting as soon as possible, Wellington College, one of the world’s leading co-educational day and boarding schools, are seeking to appoint a Curriculum Support Tutor.
Working as part of our Academic Support and SEN Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing one to one educational support to a statemented pupil with cerebral palsy, undertaking the role of academic support and liaising with teaching and non-teaching staff to enhance the pupil’s learning.
An innovative, creative and supportive approach towards assisting the pupil is expected and as the role will involve regular liaison with teaching and non- teaching staff, the ability to communicate effectively and ensure the pupil’s access to all elements of life at Wellington are essential.
Whilst Wellington pupils attend lessons and co-curricular activities 6 days per week (Mon – Sat) during term-time, the opportunity to discuss a flexible working pattern may be available for the right candidate, and is open for discussion at interview.
