An academically selective independent boys’ school with a tradition of inspired teaching, genuine scholarship and co-curricular breadth, Dulwich College is situated in a 70 acre campus in South East London.   

An experienced dancer/choreographer is required to teach dance and performance skills across a wide age range. There will, initially, be a focus on delivering a dance programme to our younger students within the timetable. This post is for one year.  

The suitable candidate will provide a dynamic and muscular approach to dance within the classroom, have excellent subject knowledge and an ability to convey their enthusiasm for dance and choreography to a wide range of students. They will also need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to effectively motivate and inspire others.  

A dancereel or showreel is required with each application.  

Closing date: 4.00pm on Monday 12 June 2017 with interviews taking place on Tuesday 20 June 2017.

Dulwich College is an academically selective independent boys’ school in south east London with a tradition of inspired teaching, genuine scholarship and co- curricular breadth. There are approximately 1,630 boys on the school roll, of whom some 130 are boarders. There is a strong history of diversity at the College, reflecting that of south east London generally, but also that we are committed to an expanding programme of means-tested access. Currently about 30% of pupils have such an award but we hope to increase this to 50% in the coming years.

Situated in 70 acres, yet only 12 minutes by train from central London, the College enjoys outstanding academic, co-curricular and sporting facilities, including The Laboratory, a RIBA National Award-winning Science and Arts building. There has also been an extensive refurbishment of its iconic Grade II* listed Barry Buildings and surrounding landscaping.
